Triops already lived 220 million years ago and are thus the oldest still living animal species

Can I put triops in the fish aquarium?

This is only possible if there are no fish in the aquarium, such as perch or fish, which are larger than 5cm.

Otherwise, the triops are easy prey or can easily be injured on their delicate legs and turn to it!
In addition, the triops must be larger than 2 cm in the reaction. But also the fish should not be too small, since otherwise these can be the prey of the Triops.

Suitable roommates would be:

Small Salmler, Panzerwelse and other small harmless fish. Possibly also with Dwergflusskrebsen.

However, they should not be kept together with shrimp as the triops would eat them!
