This Triops is found in Italy, Spain, Protugal and even in North Africa. Thus he is the southernmost representative of T. cancriformis. It

light brown the brightest representative of the cancriformis.
Until recently, it was still a subspecies of the triops cancriformis.
He is the only triop that has two clearly protruding "tips" on the left and right of the Furca.
